It was during the 1990,s that I realized the threat of our increasing supply of discarded electronics. These items were creating environmental hazards from heavy metals and persistent organic pollutants . I began collecting discarded electronics and learned over the years how to disassemble and redistribute them to organizations that can properly reuse and recycle them.
